Moody Mango first started as a raw food supper club ten years ago, in a time when very few knew what plant-based food even was. The supper clubs were all about community, connection, and inspiring people to try new nourishing cuisine with a pinch of energy.
The business got bigger and in one moment I was making food for 70 people from my tiny bedsit in Hackney. The essence changed and it just got too big. People weren't talking to their neighbours as much in the bigger groups. I needed to take it back, back to its roots, back to simplicity.
Moody Mango evolved as do we. In 2019 I reshaped the supper clubs and created a more intimate, ceremonial event.
So now I hold ceremonial supper clubs on my boat or at other sensitively selected venues.
A evening of connection, gluten free plant feast, poetry and deeper converstaions,
Veganism is now more well known but a lot of it is processed junk food. For me love and connection to plants needs to be at the root of most things. Bringing ceremony back to food. Exchanging words with strangers, stories about the land around us, poetry, candle light, sitting on the floor vibes.
We feast on plants. And magical things happen when we connect over food with new friends...
